In 1985, Euro Log introduced formalised and fully integrated schedule, cost and resource risk assessment to the British Ministry of Defence (MoD). By this time, the quality of our services was underpinned by more than ten years of project risk management experience, encompassing the energy and maritime sectors. Our contribution to the MoD and the strengthening of our relationship with the Ministry was championed by the Deputy Undersecretary of State for Defence Procurement.

Euro Log assignments were initially in project and procurement services for surface ships, later expanding into other areas of state defence procurement. Our experience and involvement with the MoD has in turn led to a growing number of private sector defence assignments.

We have been commissioned by numerous defence contractors to assist in the development of internal risk management organisations and capabilities. Euro Log has also supported defence contractors in the preparation of bid strategies and proposals, and in both project management and asset management.

This support is particularly valuabe to overseas contractors attempting to secure work with the UK MoD. Our knowledge of MoD risk management requirements ensures their full compliance as well as protection of the contractors' interests.
